The studio is located inside the tower building of the residential complex of Via Pezzana, designed by Piero Maria Lugli and Alessandra Montenero in 1970.
The complex borders the Portoghesi Mosque and the slopes of Villa Ada and is composed of buildings of different types: four buildings and a three-arm tower raised on pilotis and a line of terraced houses are arranged around a central garden.
The sugar paper color of the laminate that covers the tables of the studio recalls the tone of the cladding panels of the facades of the buildings.
